Pokémon Legends: Z-A for the Nintendo Switch or Switch 2 is currently priced at $39.88 on Amazon, a discount from the standard $59.99 for the original console and $69.99 for the Switch 2. This offer persists following the conclusion of Amazon’s October sale event, where the title was among the few items added to the reporter's cart.
The game marks a shift in the main series by replacing the traditional turn-based formula with a real-time battling system. Players continue to catch Pokémon, level up, trade, and battle within a Paris-inspired setting known as Lumiose City. The report notes that the action-oriented combat and smooth performance on the Nintendo Switch 2 are particularly welcome features.
A review of the title, conducted close to its release last October, described it as continuing the "Legends" series tradition of overhauling core game mechanics that many players find outdated. For those seeking additional content, the paid DLC Mega Dimension is available for $29.99. A new Switch 2 Edition bundle, which includes both the base game and the DLC, is scheduled to arrive on October 29, 2026, for $99.99.
