Forge Nano, Inc. completed its business combination with Archimedes Tech SPAC Partners II Co. following an extraordinary general meeting on October 16, 2026. The combined entity, operating as Forge Nano Holdings, Inc., is expected to begin trading on the NASDAQ on October 22, 2026, under the ticker symbols "NANO" for common stock and "NANOW" for warrants.

Paul Lichty, Chief Executive Officer of Forge Nano, stated that becoming a publicly traded company is a significant milestone for the team that has built the firm over the past decade. Lichty noted that the company was founded on the belief that controlling materials at the atomic level could improve the manufacturing of critical technologies. He added that access to public markets provides an opportunity to accelerate work in commercial semiconductor manufacturing and advanced batteries.

Forge Nano develops a proprietary Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) platform called Atomic Armor. This system applies precise nanoscale surface coatings to improve material performance. The company is commercializing this technology in two primary areas: semiconductor manufacturing equipment for next-generation chip architectures and advanced battery materials for commercial and defense applications.

Recent developments include an expansion of Forge Nano's semiconductor manufacturing footprint in Taiwan. The company also demonstrated high-aspect-ratio coatings on customer wafers and expanded its strategic relationship with Samsung SDI. Additionally, Forge Nano announced a joint development agreement with Swedish pharmaceutical company Nanexa and broke ground on a battery gigafactory in North Carolina.

On October 28, 2026, Forge Nano will participate in the NASDAQ Opening Bell ceremony at the NASDAQ MarketSite in Times Square, New York City.
