Apple to unveil smart home devices at October 13 event

Bloomberg reports that Apple is preparing a smart home hub with a display that will integrate the newly released Siri AI assistant. MacRumors has obtained what appear to be official images of a HomePod Mini in refreshed colors, alongside a new Apple TV 4K that resembles the current model’s design.

Additionally, Bloomberg indicates that Apple is collaborating with LG on devices such as a video doorbell and a thermostat. Recent leaked renders have shown some of these potential devices. Apple has also filed to trademark the term “HomeView,” suggesting further developments in its home ecosystem strategy.
